Butler Green Farm School is raising funds in to order to complete our mission, which is to preserve our precious farmland, continue to educate the next generation of farmers, and to provide equitable access to locally grown food. Butler Green Farm has been providing healthy produce for the community for over forty years and has trained more than 80 young farm interns to become successful stewards of the land. It is crucial that we continue to grow awareness to our community, that local farms and farmers are disappearing at alarming rates. Once gone, they are gone forever. Our farmland has provided us food for many years, and we hope is it will continue to do so for multiple generations into the future. Your support is so direly needed for us to continue to serve the community. We recognize that farming is not easy but is so essential in order for all of us to survive.
I have spent a lifetime working long hours in the fields, and I am so lucky to have done something that I thoroughly enjoy. I have become to realize, that in life it is not how much you have but how much you can impact others. Your support is so much appreciated, and together we can save our farms.

Your donations help us with the costs of providing stipends, housing and utilities, and basic needs for all our farm interns.
We need to continue to support and cover the costs for our Educulture Staff and teacher aides that host BI School District students in our Edible Education Programs and maintain the many classroom demonstration gardens we provide on our farm for all the students Additional funds also allow us to have more qualified guest instructors and speakers to teach classes and we will continue to collaborate with WSU’s Dept. of Education to include experts in all fields of agriculture for both our classroom and field instruction. We have plans to move ahead and construct a Learning Center Building so we can provide a space for classrooms, events, and a kitchen for culinary classes. This facility will be available for our community throughout the year, sitting on site, among the gardens
